Welcome to Terra Bella Ranch, LLC! We are the Terra’s – Virginia Tech alumni that own and run a beautiful farm located in Fincastle, Virginia 24090. We are conveniently located less than 10 minutes from I-81. We raise GVHS registered gypsy vanner horses and ADGA/AGS registered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats.

After having grade Nubians and Nigerians for a couple years, we started our registered Nigerian Dwarf herd in early 2011. We started with a strong foundation herd and we feel that our homebred goats have been improving and contributing to this wonderful mini dairy breed. Our homebred animals can be found throughout the country and have done very well for other herds, and we are thankful for our friends and customers who have taken the time to show and prove our animals. We milk year-round, show, and use our friendly Nigerians as therapy animals with patients of all walks of life. Therefore, we strive to breed true dairy animals with outstanding temperaments that will be competitive in the show ring and put milk in the pail.

NEW for Fall 2014 – We have started DHIR testing with both ADGA and AGS. Milk records will be posted as we excitedly move forward in participating in these performance programs!

NEW for Summer 2019 – We participated in our first linear appraisal session! Our animals appraised very well and we were very happy with our results. Most importantly, we learned a ton! We now to plan to participate in LA annually.

We are members and supporters of both ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association) and AGS (American Goat Society). Our entire herd is now dual-registered, so all kids leaving our farm will come with both ADGA and AGS registration certificates or applications.
